You may encounter the message: Your Silo session was interrupted. Reconnecting now... when a network disruption occurs for any reason while using the Silo Installed Client.

Authentic8 helps ensure network connection integrity to maintain the highest level of security and performance. Thus, Silo is designed to initiate a re-connection attempt anytime a network interruption is detected.

Common scenarios that may trigger this behavior include:

  • VPN Transition: Connecting to, or disconnecting from a VPN connection in the middle of an active Silo session
  • Network Instability: Temporary internet availability hiccups, or fluctuating Network performance (e.g., Network Latency, Packet Drops)


If you did not use a Common Access Card (CAC) as the Suki authentication method, and your organization has the Session Resume policy enabled, your Silo connection will attempt to reconnect once the network condition regains stability.


Important: Many reported Network related issues are commonly associated with the customer's Network or System environment. We recommend working with your organization's IT Support team prior to raising the issue with Authentic8.
