Introduction
As part of Toolbox's security feature, when using a Toolbox instance users cannot download files directly to their workstation. Within a Toolbox session, users will first need to save the files into Silo Secure Storage and then download from the Silo instance to their workstation.
Toolbox Saving To Silo Secure Storage
Downloading content from the Toolbox instance involves multiple steps since the Silo Secure Storage does not have an option to save files directly to the workstation.
1. Users will be able to select the folder location where the content will be saved to within the Silo Secure Storage. The drive options are based on what is provisioned by the Silo Admin.
Download From Silo Secure Storage To Workstation
1. Navigate to the Silo browser window (the Toolbox session can be minimized as it does not need to be closed out).
2. Click on Silo Drive
Icon and then click on the Silo Drive button. The Secure Silo Storage will open up in a new window and tab.
3. Navigate and locate the content that was recently saved, then click the Download button.
4. The Save File As window will open up, select the local folder location to save the content to, and click the Save button.
The content will download and once completed, it is successfully saved on the workstation.
Upload To Toolbox
Similar steps to downloading content, all uploads will need to be made through Silo before it is accessible within Toolbox.
1. Within Silo, navigate to the extension bar on the top right of the browser and click the Silo Drive icon
2. Within the Silo Secure Storage, navigate to the "Upload" button on the lower right-hand corner of the window.
