Web Apps shortcuts enable secure, seamless access to websites without needing to manually enter credentials each time. Silo Administrators can configure and distribute these shortcuts to provide one-click access while keeping login credentials fully protected. Shortcuts can be assigned at various levels — organization-wide, to specific sub-organizations, or to individual Silo accounts
Below are three ways Web App shortcuts can be provisioned:
- Admin Controlled: only the Silo Admin has knowledge and control of the web credentials
- User Controlled: web credentials are controlled by the end-user
- Shared: a single web credential that's managed and controlled by a Silo Admin
Assigning Web Apps
From the Silo Admin Console, click Manage right below Web Apps

Click [ + ] to expand the Web Apps catalog, then select a Web App entry to provision (→)

Once a Web App has been provisioned, select the credential management type, then click Save
Important:
Upon submission of Admin Controlled credentials, some risk remains that the third-party website could make the password accessible to the end-user. One potential scenario is the Show Password functionality
