The ability to transfer Bookmarks allow end-users to import their local browser bookmarks into the Silo for Safe Access environment, as well as export bookmarks over to other browser environments
Access Requirements
- File Transfer Permissions: ensure you have permission to upload and download files within Silo. Please verify that these options are enabled per your organization's File Transfer policy
- Storage Access: access to a Temporary, Pooled, or Personal storage space is required to import bookmarks
Bookmarks Source
Silo supports the HTML bookmarks format. The process for generating this type of bookmark file varies between web browsers per the guidelines below:

Importing Bookmarks Into Silo
- Click the Vertical Ellipsis icon to activate the Browser Menu options, then navigate to Bookmarks > Bookmarks manager
- Click the Vertical Ellipsis icon (2nd from the top) within the Bookmarks manager to display more options, then select Import Bookmarks
- Locate the Bookmarks file on your local machine, then click Open to initiate an upload
Exporting Bookmarks from Silo
- From the Bookmarks manager, click the Vertical Ellipsis icon (2nd from the top), then select Export Bookmarks
- Select a storage destination where you wish to save the Bookmarks file export then click Save
