Major Features


New: Silo Nexus AI v2

A major update to Silo Nexus AI, adding investigation roles, personal prompt management, additional formats, and a redesigned interface.

  • Investigation Roles
    • Choose an investigation role (Financial Crime, OSINT, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Trust & Safety, Law Enforcement, or General Analysis) that tailors how Nexus AI approaches your work.
    • Switch roles mid-conversation. The chat shows a clear marker whenever the role changes.
    • Nexus remembers your last-used role per Workspace, and you can set a default role in Settings.
    • A short onboarding overlay walks new users through picking a role on first use.
  • Prompts
    • Create, edit, and delete your own personal prompts alongside the admin and role prompts already available.
  • Send content to Nexus AI
    • A new Silo Nexus AI browser extension in Silo Workspace puts a toolbar button and right-click options on every page. Send an image or selected text straight into a current or new analysis.
    • Silo Drive now offers “Send to current Nexus AI analysis” and “Send to new Nexus AI analysis” on right-click, so files go into an investigation without a download-and-upload round trip.
  • Document and image analysis
    • Send documents for analysis directly in a conversation.
    • Paste images into the chat input from your local clipboard or from inside the Silo browser, with a preview you can review or remove before sending.
  • Redesigned interface
    • Refreshed visual style across the Nexus window, the new chat page, and the browser extension popup.
    • Search within a conversation with Ctrl+F (Cmd+F on Mac), including live highlighting, next/previous navigation, and a match count.
    • Keyboard shortcut tooltips on the search, screen capture, and new chat controls.
    • Clearer messaging when you reach your daily prompt limit, including when it resets and how to get more.


Improvements

  • Admin Console
    • Added a search box to the Policies tab so administrators can find a policy without scrolling through every section.
    • Added search to the organization tree selector, making it faster to locate a specific org in large hierarchies.
  • Other
    • Various under-the-hood platform, reliability, and performance updates.


Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that prevented saving .HAR files to Silo Drive or local disk, which resulted in 0-byte files.
  • Fixed an issue where URL logs were missing the domain attribute for some uploads.
