Idle Timeout Message



 

Introduction

If you are receiving a Session Timeout error in Silo, it means that there has been no detected activity within a certain period. Session timeouts are controlled by your organization’s settings in the Admin Console. The maximum allowable timeout is 4 hours. If you need to adjust this limit, please contact your organization’s IT help desk or your Silo administrator.


How to Configure Session Timeout in the Admin Console

  • Log in to the Silo Admin Console.
  • Click on Manage Policies.
  • Expand Advanced policies and edit the Session Limit policy.
  • Specify the desired timeout duration (up to 4 hours).
  • Save and restart your Silo session to apply the new timeout settings.
