An Idle Timeout (Your Silo session has timed out.) message is displayed when no activity has been detected after a certain period.

The Session timeout value can be managed via the Silo Admin Console. Please contact your organization's Silo Administrator to make any changes to this policy. The maximum timeout (idling) value allowed is 4 hours



Session Timeout Control

  • Launch the Silo Admin Console
  • Click Manage right below Policies, then navigate to Advanced > Session Limits > Edit
  • Set the desired timeout duration (up to 4 hours)
  • Click Save and start a new Silo session in order to let the new timeout settings take effect
