Q: Where do I find my Silo client session log file?
A: If you are having any issues connecting to Authentic8 with your Silo client your Authentic8 Support rep may ask for your client session log.
Windows client session log location:
%temp%\Authentic8\session.log
Please note that for Windows Client 2.9.14 and later, logs will follow the naming convention of “session-2020-09-09-wed-00-00-00.log”. In most cases, Authentic8 support staff will only require the most recent session log file unless multiple session log files are requested.
Mac client session log location:
~/Library/Logs/com.authentic8.launcher.log
Please note that for Mac Client 3.10.0 and later, logs will follow the naming convention of “com.authentic8.launcher2020-09-11_10-00-00.log”. In most cases, Authentic8 support staff will only require the most recent session log file unless multiple session log files are requested
Linux client sessions logs location:
~/Authentic8/session.log
