Secure Web Gateway Integration (SWGI) provides enterprise customers with the functionality to redirect web browser requests over to the Silo for Safe Access environment, rather than through the local machine's default web browser
The purpose of this guide is to provide SWGI end-users with user experience expectations
Preparation
The following preparation steps are suggestions to help streamline the end-user configuration:
- Make sure to have the Silo Windows client installed —or— have access to the Web Client
- Review the Minimum System Requirements to ensure system compatibility
User Experience
Below are three common SWGI workflows:
- A first time pass on a local machine without the Silo Windows client installed — requires the end-user to install the Silo Windows client, while going through the SWGI process
- A first time pass on a local machine with the Silo Windows client installed — launches the URL request directly in Silo for Safe Access
- After the initial pass, subsequent SWGI access will simple display a Silo for Safe Access session launch
More Info: Please contact your Silo Administrator for additional questions pertaining to your organization's Gateway Integration
