A: To turn off auto updates in the Mac client, you will want to disable the a8UpdateControl Preference Key.

To Disable:

In the terminal, type: defaults write com.authentic8.launcher a8UpdateControl none

To Re-enable:

In the terminal, type: defaults write com.authentic8.launcher a8UpdateControl client
