The Copy/Paste policy can be managed by a Silo Administrator with Policies permission or higher
This policy is available via Silo Admin Console > Policies > Data Transfer > Copy/Paste
By default, bi-directional copy and paste is not enabled. Bi-directional Copy and Paste can be enabled at a top-level org to apply to all end-users, or at a sub-org level to apply to a specific group of end-users
There are three variables that can be enforced: None, One, or Both
- Restrict Silo to Device Copy/Paste
Do not allow content copied within Silo to be pasted into an application on the local device
- Restrict Device to Silo Copy/Paste
Do not allow content copied from an application on the local device to be pasted into Silo
Important
- Silo for Safe Access and Silo for Research (Toolbox) handle copy-and-paste commands independently
- When enabled, Silo for Safe Access and Silo for Research will allow end-users to copy and paste text and binary files, including images
- With respect to the Copy/Paste policy, Silo for Research sessions operate in its own browser environment than Silo for Safe Access. Enabling restrictions may limit the copy and paste functionality between the two browser environments
